End of Term Message

Dear Parents/Guardians,

END OF TERM MESSAGE
With heartfelt gratitude as an institution, we appreciate God Almighty for his immense blessing that knows no bound. We appreciate Him mostly for bringing us to the end of this blessed term successfully. We also thank Him for protecting the wards, staff and Management of Darian Academy, and above all for protecting our dear parents/guardians throughout this term.
From the depth of our heart we want to appreciate our esteemed and ever dependable parents/guardians for their love, care and unending support towards the promotion of our great institution.
As a school that is driving with high academic standard and learning behaviour of our wards and also a school that is cultivating ideas for your kids, we successfully carried out some educative and creative activities for the just concluded term;
UMBRELLA DAY
This was a combination of sports, colour day and picnic.
On that great day, children were asked to come with umbrella of different colours, they were also asked to make available fruits of different types.
Therefore colours were displayed for identification and aesthetic. The environment was beautified with different colours and children were also educated on the importance of colour. On that same day, every child in the school partook in both sports and picnics which were quite intriguing.
Having recorded our last term activities, we wish to inform our esteemed parents/guardians of our new proposed activities for the forthcoming term.
1. EXCURSION
It is imperative to know that excursion is one thing that every child needs and it is very educating and informative.
And so we deem it fit to involve our children in this activity in our forthcoming term.
2. CULTURAL DAY
As we know culture is the way of life of a group of people. Everyone belongs to a culture and so it is important to expose our children to the various types of culture around us.
3. GRADUATION (THEME: AFRICANA DAY)
Our wards in Toddler class and Nursery Two will be graduating this forthcoming term. We are notifying our parents to please get prepared for we have a lot to offer that will inspire and intrigue you. We also want to inform our dear parents/guardians that all graduating students shall be paying a sum of N10,000, while the non-graduating students are to support with the sum of N5,000.
Not omitting the theme of our graduation which is “African Day”. On this day we shall be exposing our children to various African Cultures; the clothes they wear, how they greet, the food they eat, so on and so forth. Our wards shall be dressed in different African attires on that day.

MODE OF DRESSING
We reiterate the need for our wards to be in the proper dress code for each day. This is key in ensuring that our pupils look smart and uniform each day. As we anticipate your co-operation on this, below are the dress codes for each day;
Mondays- School uniform, white socks and a black Shoe
Tuesdays- Blue T-shirt and blue jeans with sneakers
Wednesdays- School uniform, white socks and a black shoe
Thursdays- Red T-shirt and blue jeans with sneakers
Fridays- Sportswear, white socks and white canvas.

RESUMPTION
The third term begins on the 26th of April, 2023.

PUNTUALITY
School gate opens at 7:00am to 8:10am daily. Please endeavor to bring your children to school on time as the school gate will be locked exactly 8:10am.

CLOSING TIME
For Nursery: School closes at 1:00pm from Monday to Thursday and at 12:30pm on Friday.
For Primary: School closes at 2:00pm from Monday to Thursday and at 1:00pm on Friday.
Please endeavour to pick your wards from school on time as failure to do so will attract a Fine of #500 daily.

AFTER SCHOOL LESSON
Nursery lesson begins at 1:00pm and closes 2:30pm daily.
Primary lesson begins at 2:00pm and close 3:30pm daily.
Extra school care for both Nursery and Primary is from 3:30pm to 4:30pm.
Failure to pick your children/wards on time attracts a fine of #500 daily.

LESSON DAYS
Monday – Thursday
Friday’s school closes generally at 1:00pm.

SCHOOL FEES PAYMENT
Please note that school fees payment is paramount among all as it creates room for effective and smooth running of the school.
This should be made before resumption as payment validates entry into the school compound.

HOLIDAY LESSONS
Our holiday lesson begins 3rd of April and ends 20th of April 2023 from 9:00am – 1:00pm, Mondays to Thursdays.
The school office will also be opened daily to any enquires during this period.

NOTE: All fees should be paid before resumption and prove of payment should be brought to school on resumption to validate entry.
